Youth Volunteer Experience

Junior Leaders encourages members to help others by volunteering at their neighbourhood Club. It is an opportunity for youth to gain volunteer experience, learn new skills, assume new responsibilities, have fun, and challenge themselves to reach personal and team goals.

Youth volunteers are responsible for a wide variety of Club activities such as the following:

• Supervising arts and crafts projects
• Helping with the use of computers
• Playing sports and games with younger children
• Cleaning and organizing the club
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Making signs and calendars on computers
