Youth Agencies Alliance (YAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marina De Luna as Director effective August 19, 2019.
Marina has an extensive background in program development and project management and over seven years of experience bringing community members together by facilitating outreach, collaboration and strategic planning with a focus on equity and inclusion for youth.
We are confident that her understanding of community engagement practices and passion for helping youth succeed in our communities will lead YAA into its next phase of growth. She is very excited to join the YAA team and looks forward to working with our member agencies to make a significant impact on the youth and families they serve, resulting in a stronger, healthier Winnipeg.
At the same time, we must bid farewell to YAA’s outgoing Director, Karen Ferris and would like to express our appreciation for her years of service and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. A passionate leader, Karen has strengthened and enhanced the capacity of youth serving agencies in Winnipeg through her dedication to YAA’s vision and the work that we do.
