You and I have something in common: we’re both supporters of Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg and we both value BGCW’s important work.
Boys and Girls Clubs take a preventative approach to a broad range of critical issues. Homework help, mentoring, access to resources like computers and technology training, sports and physical activities, just to name a few, are valuable, diverse programs to help young people aged six to eighteen.
As well, our programs are evidence and research based. Clubs offer meaningful, vital programming developed in response to the needs of the local community being served.
You should know too that Clubs are available to all – every child deserves a safe, supportive place where they can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. Whatever it takes, we will work to give children and youth the great futures they deserve.
