Shelmerdine Garden Centre, 7800 Roblin Blvd. in Headingley, is selling silver and gold-coloured ornaments as part of the business’ annual holiday fundraiser. Marketing and events manager Yvonne Dube is shown holding the ornaments. All sale proceeds are going to the Never Alone Foundation, Turning Leaf, Nor West Co-op Community Food Centre, Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg, and House of Hesed. Since 2011 Shelmerdine has raised $90,000 for local charities through its annual ornament sale. Shoppers have until noon on Dec. 23 to stop in to buy an ornament before Christmas.
